This is the story of 7 teenagers going through High School life, each with their own set of problems. Topics range from racism, homosexuality, rape, and abuse.

Keisha Williams ~ Keisha is a sixteen year old, African-American, junior at Siena Heights High School. Her and her mother live alone in a poor part of Los Angeles. She was chosen to go to Siena Heights due to her high honors in middle school. Keisha must break to her mother that she is dating a white jock from Siena Heights.

Mike Mitchelson ~ Mike is a seventeen junior at Siena Heights. He is the typical sport player, preppy jock guy at the school. He needs to help him parents overcome racial prejudice and have them accept his colored girlfriend, Keisha. At the same time he needs to win over Keisha's mothers heart so he too can be accepted as Keishas boyfriend.

Liza Cole ~ Liza is Keishas best friend. She also is a sixteen year old, African-American, junior at Siena Heights. Liza lives with a white adoption family due to her parents abuse to her and her three sisters at a younger age. Liza hides her pain well in public, although when alone she lets the tears fall.

Morgan White ~ Morgan is a seventeen year old junior, who also happens to be the head cheerleader at Siena Heights. She goes through her life using her looks and sex appeal to get by. But what she realizes in the end is that it may hurt her.

Paige White ~ Paige is Morgans younger sister. She is a fifteen year old freshman at Siena Heights. She realizes that her first year of hish school life isin't going to be easy with attempting to fill her older sisters shoes. Paige is your typical school 'nerd'.
